No, BidWiser is an independent third-party tool. We use eBay's official API to retrieve listing data, but we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by eBay Inc.

Currently BidWiser supports eBay.com (US marketplace). Support for international eBay sites (UK, Germany, Australia, etc.) is planned for a future release.

Yes! Premium users can add a custom prompt (up to 1,000 characters) to specify exactly what they want BidWiser to check. For example, you might ask it to "check if the seller responds defensively to negative feedback" or "verify the item appears to be genuine based on photos." You can also adjust the sensitivity level from conservative (only serious issues) to thorough (catch everything).

Premium plans are available with higher limits starting at $36.99/year for 500 scans/month. When you upgrade, you become a BidSlammer subscriber with access to all our tools including eBay sniping.

No, unused scans do not roll over. Your scan count resets to zero on the first of each month.

Yes! ChatGPT Vision can analyze listing photos to detect stock images, watermarks, signs of editing, and authenticity indicators. Photo analysis costs 1¢ to 3¢ per image depending on resolution. This feature is available on Standard and Full scans for premium users.

Yes! Premium users can enter their own OpenAI API key in account settings. This gives you unlimited scans (no monthly limits) and you pay OpenAI directly for usage. Your key is encrypted and only used for your requests. This is ideal for power users who scan many items.

Not currently. BidWiser is designed for interactive use through our website and upcoming browser extension. If you're interested in API access for commercial purposes, please contact us.

BidWiser fetches real-time data from eBay's API and then processes it through our AI model. This ensures you get the most current information about the listing and seller, but it does take a few seconds to complete.

This usually means the eBay listing has ended or been removed. BidWiser can only analyze active listings. Double-check the item number and try again. If the listing is still active on eBay but BidWiser can't find it, please contact support.

You've reached your monthly scan limit. Free accounts get 20 scans per month. Upgrade to a premium plan for higher limits, or wait until the 1st of next month when your scans reset.
