BidWiser Usage Limits

BidWiser is available to all visitors with different limits based on your account type.

Monthly Quotas

Image Analysis

Image scans let you analyze listing photos for visible defects and damage. Each image analyzed counts as one image scan toward your monthly quota.

• Up to 12 images per listing can be analyzed
• Image scans are separate from text analyses
• Results show under each thumbnail

Important Notes

Re-using Previous Item Numbers

Re-analyzing the same item doesn't count toward your quota. Results are cached for 10 days, so:

• Viewing an item you've already analyzed is instant
• It doesn't use one of your monthly analyses
• You can share the analysis link with others

Quota Reset

Your monthly quota resets on the 1st of each month at midnight Pacific Time.

What Happens When You Reach Your Limit?

If you've used all your analyses, you'll see a polite message letting you know your quota has been reached. You can:

• Wait until the 1st of next month for your quota to reset
• View cached analyses for items you've already analyzed (always free)
• Create a free account for 20 analyses per month
• Upgrade to Premium for 500 analyses per month

Pricing Philosophy

We use ChatGPT 4o-mini for BidWiser analysis, which incurs a cost per analysis. We've decided to absorb this cost and make BidWiser:

• Free for visitors at 3 analyses total
• Free for accounts at 20 analyses per month
• Included with Premium at 500 analyses per month
